About the Narrator

ʿUrwah ibn al-Zubayr رحمه الله (22–94 AH / 642–712 CE) was among the Seven Great Jurists of Madinah and one of the most distinguished scholars of the Tābiʿūn. As the nephew of Sayyidah ʿĀʾishah رضي الله عنها and the son of al-Zubayr ibn al-ʿAwwām and Asmāʾ bint Abī Bakr رضي الله عنهما, he inherited knowledge from some of the greatest Companions of the Prophet .

His Maghāzī became one of the earliest and most trusted historical sources, laying the foundation for generations of Sīrah scholarship.


About the Compiler

Shaykh Dr Muṣṭafā al-Aʿẓamī رحمه الله was an internationally renowned scholar of Hadith and Qur'anic studies. Educated at Dārul ʿUlūm Deoband, Al-Azhar University, and the University of Cambridge, he dedicated his life to preserving the authenticity of the Islamic tradition through groundbreaking academic research and scholarship.
