Collection: Ibn Juzayy al-Kalbī

Abū ’l-Qāsim Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn Juzayy al-Kalbī al-Gharnāṭī (693–741 AH) was a distinguished Andalusian scholar from a noble family deeply rooted in knowledge and learning.

From an early age, he devoted himself to the pursuit of sacred knowledge, attaining mastery in a wide range of disciplines, including:
- Qur’anic readings
- Tafsīr (Exegesis)
- Ḥadīth
- Fiqh and its principles
- Arabic language, literature, and poetry

A gifted polymath, Ibn Juzayy combined intellectual rigor with spiritual integrity, embodying the knowledge he conveyed. He dedicated his life to teaching, writing, and public instruction, leaving behind a legacy far greater than might be expected from his relatively short life of forty-eight years.

His works continue to be celebrated for their depth, clarity, and enduring relevance, securing his place among the great scholars of al-Andalus.
