The structure and style of teaching will be modelled on a combination of two methodologies: University level language instruction and traditional seminary education. \u003cbr\u003eThe instructors will be using their experience from world renowned institutes such as Oxford, SOAS, and Qasid, combined with their training under traditional Islamic scholars to tailor a curriculum that combines both language production (writing and speaking) and reception (reading and listening). This will provide students a holistic understanding of the language and will equip them to confidently communicate and use this newly acquired skill.  \u003cbr\u003eThe genre of materials students will be exposed to will range from classical medieval texts to modern Arabic literature and articles in MSA. The course is designed for students to have a wide Arabic horizon, not just focused on traditional Islamic works in a specific field. She studied Arabic with Hebrew at the University of Oxford before completing postgraduate study at SOAS, alongside traditional ʿAlimiyyah training in the Islamic sciences. \u003cbr\u003eHer professional work includes translating and editing scholarly translations of major Islamic works, including Turath publications of Imam Nawawī’s \u003cem\u003eMeadow's of the Righteous\u003c\/em\u003e and\u003cem\u003e Imam Ghazālī's 40 Principles of the Religion\u003c\/em\u003e , and serving as Quality Assurance Coordinator at Turath Publishing. \u003cbr\u003eMariam is passionate about helping students build a meaningful relationship with the Arabic language. Her teaching is communicative, supportive and student-centred, encouraging learners to use Arabic actively from the outset. As part of his undergraduate degree, he studied at Qasid Arabic Institute in Jordan between 2021–2022. He graduated in 2023 with First-Class Honours. \u003cbr\u003eHe then completed a MSt in Islamic Studies and History at Pembroke, University of Oxford, where he was awarded a distinction. His academic research has focused primarily on Qurʾānic studies and the exegetical (tafsīr) tradition. \u003cbr\u003eAlongside his formal university education, Nadeem has studied with traditional Islamic scholars in both the UK and the Middle East.
